Dislikes : Being away from bramble ; Dry conditions

We have several types of stick insect, including giant spiny, bud wings and jungle nymph

Habitat : Rocky grassland areas

Age : 4 years

Likes : the dark ; crickets ; chin tickles

Dislikes : sunlight

Sex : Male

Dave got his name from a 7 year old niece of a friend – I guess thats what happens when you give free rein to others to give your animal a name 🙂 Lesson learnt!! We also have another leopard gecko called Roar, who was found in somebody’s rockery in Staffordshire and handed to a vet, who asked us to take him in.

Name comes from Rica, of Costa Rica, where I found and held a wild milk snake in the jungle
